American will end service between New York JFK and Tokyo Narita (NRT) starting June 1.

American will re-accommodate all customers affected by this schedule change to other flights. We apologize for the schedule change and sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Also starting June 1, AA will re-launch service between New York JFK and Tokyo Haneda (HND).

American continues to operate non-stop service between Tokyo-Narita to daily non-stop services to Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, and Los Angeles, and Haneda-JFK will resume daily from June, 2012.
The changes are related to normal business changes and aren't specifically related to restructuring. AA's joint business partner, Japan Airlines, will continue flying between JFK and NRT.
