LEVEL connects Barcelona, Spain, with destinations in the U.S. and across the Americas. When you book a LEVEL flight with an American flight number, you can earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points toward status.
Note: If your ticketed flight number is IB2600 – IB2699, you will not earn miles and Loyalty Points. Flight numbers outside that range are Iberia flights and will earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points according to the Iberia mileage accrual chart.
Earn miles
You’ll earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points on American-marketed flights operated by LEVEL for Iberia. This means your ticketed flight number begins with an ‘AA.’
If your ticketed flight number is IB2600 – IB2699, you will not earn miles and Loyalty Points. Flight numbers outside that range are Iberia flights and will earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points according to the Iberia mileage accrual chart.
To earn, you must:
- Buy an eligible published fare ticket in an eligible booking code
- Fly an eligible route
When you earn AAdvantage® miles for eligible travel on LEVEL, you’ll also earn Loyalty Points that count toward qualifying for AAdvantage® status.

Calculating base miles
For travel on American-marketed flights operated by LEVEL for Iberia, miles are earned based on ticket price (includes base fare plus carrier-imposed fees; excludes government-imposed taxes and fees). The more you spend, and the higher your AAdvantage® status, the more you'll earn.
- AAdvantage® member – 5 miles for every U.S. dollar
- AAdvantage Gold® member – 40% bonus
- AAdvantage Platinum® member – 60% bonus
- AAdvantage Platinum Pro® member – 80% bonus
- AAdvantage Executive Platinum® member – 120% bonus
Travel ticketed as an American Airlines marketed flight (booked as an AA flight number) and operated by LEVEL will earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points according to the American mileage accrual chart.
Exception
You cannot earn or use AAdvantage® miles on Iberia flights operated by LEVEL (flight numbers IB2600 – IB2699).
